product url seems corrupted

hi, my site is
www.supergiftstore.com
and i have a problem with the format of the product url for those products that i wish to have an additional page of information linked to (such as clothing sizes)

i bulk load my csv files with the product url in the correct format, such as
http://www.supergiftstore.com/dresssizes.htm

but the clickable link looks like this
http://supergiftstore.com/index.php?...dresssizes.htm

is the sql database foramt need changing?

Before you worry about this, go now to your admin panel... Configuration >>> MyStore >>>Show Category Counts (SET TO FALSE)
Configuration >>> MyStore >>>Show Category Counts - Admin (SET TO FALSE)

Because you have such a huge number of products, category counts are slowing your site down to a crawl. I am off to make coffee while I wait for your product page to load.

The products URL system is not designed for internal links. You cannot use this to open pages on YOUR URL, only EXTERNAL URLS.

Much MUCH easier to create an EZ-Page, and then configure an menu link.

doh! must have had my blonde head on.

forgot that i had put the http:// in front of the url link.

when removed, it works a dream
