Changing limits on downloads for all products
I've had a zen cart store for about 3.5 years. I'm very familiar with my store usually, but something has come up and I can't figure it out.
In the attributes, for how many times an item can be downloaded and how many days it will be available to the customer for download, I have it set up for 182 days and 10 download tries. I got an email from a customer, that lost everything and wants all of her downloads turned back on. No problem. When I went to do it for the year 2009, it showed she had been allowed 182 days and 10 download tries. It had expired so I turned it on, the download days went from 182 to 1065 or something. It's not a huge ordeal, but I don't want the downloads I turn back on for her to be THAT long.
So I went into the attributes settings and and changed the downloads in general to 14 days and 2 tries. It didn't lower the amount of days by much at all.
I don't get why it's that high of a number for the days? It's never done that before that I can recall.
Please help. I want it to be 14 days is all.
I searched and searched for a thread that would address this but came up with nothing. I hope I made what the situation is and what I want to do clear.
Re: Changing limits on downloads for all products
The days are based on order_date ... so if you need them active on an order that is so old it will be 182 + the numbers of days to that order date ...
