How do I get the customers newsletter status (Subscribed or Unsubscribed) to appear on the Office Use Only area of the Order Confirmation email so that I can have a hard copy of the newsletter status for record keeping.
You will need to some custom coding.
1. Since you're using v1.5.1, you'll need to start by making this change to the core functions_email.php file to add the ability to include additional office-use-only data: https://github.com/zencart/zencart/c...867cdc615f64cf
2. Then edit the order.php class file's send_order_email function to pass an extra array of information to the email_collect_extra_info function call, to include the newsletter status. Of course you'll need to get that status from the database first by running a custom query to obtain it.
