2 questions I can't really find the answer for. I tried to add it manually to the confirmation html file but it didnt' work

1) I need to add a link to that email. We are allowing the customer to batch upload some pictures and to do this I need to add a generic link to the confirmation email...for example

To upload your pictures please visit www.domain.com/upload

that should be easy but it won't work.I'm using 1.39

2) I need to add "shipment method" to the confirmation email. So the client can tell it it is a local delivery or instore pickup...both are free

any ideas?
