Default Problem with missing Log In...

No one has ever complained but earlier this week noticed when you select "Log In" on the site, there's no place to enter any info to log in.

I've added quite a few different Admin monds in the past. Could one of those have caused a problem? If there's a file I can check for problems, which would it be? Any suggestions for a fix? I know a bit about programming but am not an expert so any help from the experts here is greatly appreciated!

Looks OK to me. They do have to click the Sign Up button.

That's really starange. The page wasn't like that the other day. No place to enter your email address or password. Now it looks ok and I didn't change anything. Well hopefully it keeps working right. Thanks for the help!

I have exactly this problem... I've downloaded a new install of v1.5 2 days ago on to my laptop as a localserver.
I have added the template "All Business" and have just realised that when I click on the "Login" button at the top, it goes to a blank page, as does the "Checkout" button.

However, the "Home" and "Shopping Cart" buttons on the same line are working, as is every other button and link on the pages.

I've looked through the forums - I do still have a login.php file, I haven't personally edited any files, only settings within the Admin section.

I have converted it back to the Green template, same issue.

    Any ideas anyone?

If you're talking about the store in your signature, the Login link works for me. Lots of other problems on the site, though, especially in IE.

BTW, Zencart loads all stylesheets with the .css extension that it finds in the current template's css folder, so you have two sheets fighting each other. Move one, or name the one stylesheet.original if you need to leave it there.

no, it's on my laptop as a local server.

The site in my signature I did in 06, 2 weeks before a brain injury and have no recollection of how I created it. *grin*

There are 2 folders (css & jscripts) sitting in limbo in the All Business template download file that both have jscripts in them, but no instructions of where to save them to or how to utilise them... could this be my missing link and if so, what do I do with them?

The pages that you say are showing up blank are delivered by SSL. If your laptop's webserver isn't set up to do SSL but you've told Zen Cart to use SSL, then I'm not surprised that you're running into problems.

In your /includes/configure.php, set ENABLE_SSL to 'false'

Further, a quick search for "blank page" in the Tutorials/FAQs section brings up this article with useful info: http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?124-blank-page

Okay, Cache revealed the file that had the problem... still not sure what the problem actually was, however overwrote with a copy from the install set and it is now working. :-)
