Quantity Discount Add-on?

Hi Good Folks!

Wondering if you have any recommendations for a quantity discount app that might work with ZenCart v1.3.7.1

For example the item is $100 but if they buy two, then it show $190 in the cart or similar.

Check http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=135. It says 1.3.8, but it may work with your version. You can check the author's website and/or contact him to ask. I've used his stuff and it's never disappointed.

I installed the addon but it seems that it affects all the items in the store globally. I was hoping on a item basis mod. I have items in the store that I don't want to offer qty discount even if they are more than 2 pcs.

hope it makes sense.

You should be able to configure it to include/exclude items. Scott usually had documentation included. Check if there's a "read me" file. There may be a support thread. I'll check.

thanks Mary - I figured out in the end that what I needed is already installed in zencart via Products Price Manager.

Glad you got it sorted out. For others reading this thread: if you are discounting quantities of a snigle item, you should use the native Zen Cart quantity discounting facility, which is provided through the Products Price Manager. If you want to discount across products/categories, you can look at my stuff.
