Idea or Suggestion Using as a 'fake' shop?

    Hi guys,
We are currently using Zen Cart for a SIM game where, obviously, the purchases do not use real money. What we do right now is issue 'gift certificates' for the amounts being used, and we have all shipping costs disabled. A lot of our game members are confused by the 'gift certificates' and how to utilize them at checkout. Does anyone have any ideas of simplifying this? Or a better way to set up the shop to accept 'fake' forms of payment that are less likely to confuse our members?

    All ideas are greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Alison

Just change the name that displays for the COD or check/money order payment modules to something like "No payment required" or "Funny Money". Enable those mods and set the default status to what ever you want.

I don't know if something like this would be useful. http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=339
