Default Parse error in Admin with Big Royal Mail module

Sorry if this is in the wrong area - but here goes.
I have used the Big Royal Mail shipping module for some time - but the author is now not updating the rates etc - and I am left with an error showing in Admin - and I'm darned if i can work out how to remove it - I did contact the author - but have had no reply - so hoping someone can point me in the right direction to remove the warning / error...??
    TIA
Here's the error- (with my admin details removed )

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /admin/includes/init_includes/init_sqlupdates_licence.php(69) : eval()'d code on line 1

There is no such file in zencart. Is it a RM file?

Thanks for the link - I have tried as mentioned on that thread - but no success.

as a temporary measure. I have renamed mine to .xxxphp and that has stopped the error appearing.
I have tried removing the module - but obviously missing something - I think - as mentioned in that thread - that there is a call to update from the external server - which I think is not working at the moment.
Thanks for the reply - I appreciate you taking a look

    This file

    admin/includes/init_includes/init_sqlupdates_licence.php

doesn't exist in the Big Royal Mail module in the Plugins area:

It certainly exists in my setup - I guess the module in the download section differs from the version that the author had available on his website some time ago - that version was a paid for module that queried an external server for updated Royal Mail prices - but is now no longer operational...

Hi - yes - I have now managed to clear the error - I thought I had removed the module - but had missed some files...
The best thing to do is have the original module open locally - and with your FTP client open at the same time - work through all the files (removing them) - I think I had only removed the modules files - but there were a few more - one of which must have been triggering the error...
I was initially reluctant to remove the module - as it was the only shipping method used - and had hoped at some stage - the author might have updated it - but I guess that's not going to happen very soon.
I have now installed the other Royal mail module - but can't complete setting it up until we have the latest price increases available...

You can get all the rates from RM and ParcelForce websites... We just upgraded the mod and all rates this weekend, on several sites.
