    Default Change Owner Name on all receipt emails

    I feel that this may be a simple answer but I can't seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. When we first set up our site I put the owner's name in somewhere and since then she has been appearing on all of the customer receipts in the from field. Now the company is changing hands and I need to change out the from name on the customer receipts. I cannot seem to find where this is located.

    I think I am running 1.3.8b still if that helps.

    I checked there and her name is not mentioned anywhere in any of the fields. I see various email addresses but I am not sure where it is pulling her name from.

    ps. The section that Kobra pointed you to will probably also need to be changed as this is used in the email headers.

    I found the section you are talking about and have changed the Store Owner but the receipts are still saying the old name...

    Perhaps you 'hard coded it' into one of the files somewhere?

    Try performing a search using the Developers Toolkit. Use the Look-up in all files input box. Don't forget to select 'all files'.

    Couldn't find anything in the toolkit search...perhaps it is something server side having to do with my email account? Any ideas on that or where I would search for that?

    The advice given already is sound. Perhaps your store is customized in additional ways that work differently than core Zen Cart does out-of-the-box?
    Perhaps you can show us a copy of an email containing the undesired name, so we can help you with your specific problem.

    And you REALLY ought to be upgrading to a secure version of Zen Cart. The version you said you're running is not secure.
