Digital Products, Instant Download, Avoid Shipping address

Hi,
I am new to Zen-Cart. Recently hosted digital downloadable products site and most of the products are free.
Can some one help me with the below things?
1. Since all products are digital downloads, can I skip the Shipping address fields while registration? If so, can you provide the steps?
2. In case of free products, can we eliminate the Payment process?
3. Can the user able Instant download the digital product instantly after transaction is done in case of paid product or after registration in case of free product?

Sorry for too many questions.. But, I truly appreciate your help.

The first article will describe how to setup your products as downloads (virtual products), which don't require a shipping address. The second article describes how to make sure that the customer has instant access to the download after they've paid for it (or if it's free).

Hi Thanks for your reply. In the second article it was talking about install "freecharger" module for instant download in case of free items. But, I could not find this module in the Plugins and Addons section. Do you have any idea?

The "freecharger" is one of the built-in payment methods (admin Modules->Payment). You just need to install/enable that payment method.

is now called the:
Free Order freecharger
