Dreamhost one-click

My first post here; apologies if this question is answered elsewhere - I don't find it, if so. Am installing Zen Cart on a Dreamhost account. They have a one-click installer, but it installs version 1.3.9h, not 1.5.

Does anyone know why they do that? Is there some good reason for not using 1.5 on Dreamhost?

It may be their auto-installer hasn't been updated yet. It's much better, in my opinion, to install Zencart manually anyway. There are instructions in the docs folder of the Zencart zip file.

We used to call them NightmareHost...

Hmm. Well, I am switching to a direct 1.5.0 install from zencart itself. Thanks, both of you.

Always better to install manually. First-time users should also elect to include DEMO data - this will speed up your learning process.

You should also buy the User Guide (advert at bottom of this page).
