Attributes not being taxed

Have an upgrade, 1.3.9H to 1.5.0

Products set to taxable, taxes configured correctly, etc

Product has attributes, is NOT priced by attributes, but have qty discounts.

One of the attributes is a one time cost and it is not being taxed.

Any ideas?

Think you missed the details button, Melanie. Details should show Country and Zone.
But, you're saying that the rest of the item is taxed properly?

US >> Virginia. Yes the rest of the order is taxed properly

I've confirmed your bug in 1.5.0, however the fix mentioned in the above thread also fixes your bug.

Melanie's initial post was for diagnosing this issue is on my recently upgraded Zencart site. I tried to implement the fix as you note in the above thread, however, it seems to only be a partial fix. I'm also introducing another issue that we discovered as Melanie believes they are all related.

This first screen shows priced attributes selected for this product, with a quantity of 200. (There are notes on this screen as well.)

However, at the Payment Information screen the attributes, AND taxes, are added and tallied correctly.

So, I'm not sure where the problem truly lies. Or, whether this is a distinct separate issue from the Quantity Discounts issue we discovered. At this point, the Quantity discount is the more significant issue. I have found anything in these forums that address this kind of problem post-upgrade. It worked swimmingly before.

I spoke with Melanie this a.m., and we created a nice workaround. We both suspect that some settings were ignored in 1.3.8, that were not ignored in 1.5 and broke some stuff. And, the tax fix this original post referenced worked just fine.
