Stock by Attributes modules vs OScommerce stock by attributes QTPro

Hi there

I've been using OSCommerce for years now and use its Stock by Attributes contribution QTPro. I've downloaded and installed the Zencart Stock by Attributes (latest version 1.4.14) and have some questions.

It seems the only place I can update the attribute quantities is from Catalog menu - then Products with Attributes stock - then selecting the product from a long list off all products in the site and updating its stock attributes from there.

This would be fine if I didn't have over a thousand products in my web site.


In OSCommerce the add on (QTPro) allowed us to browse for the product in the Catalog (equivalent ZenCart page is categories.php) and click on a Stock button to the right of the product name and update attribute quantities from there. Rather than on this huge table combining all products in a list on the 'Products with Attributes stock' page.

I'm looking for another add on / contribution in ZenCart that will let me access attribute quantities from product listings in the main catalog and can't seem to find one. Does this exist?

That feature would sure be nice, but it doesn't exist.

Thanks John. Its such a shame because everything else in Zen Cart is really good, but if the attribute quantities facility is difficult, its such a major part of any on line shop - I'm going to stick with OSCommerce and continue to fight with its table layout.
