after installing thru cpanl, got www.mysite.com//index.... (double slash). why?

Probably ignorant question. I ended up installing automatically. Then seems like I have 2 admin folders. One is zc_install-disabled, thru which i did db upgrade. and the other is zcadmin. Is it because of these 2 that i have something like this: http://www.mongolianshop.com//index....roducts_id=818

What causes this // ?
Which of above folders need to be renamed and which deleted? Nobody asked about double slash.

1.5.0 includes/config had this:

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '//');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '//');

I tried taking out one slash in the each of 2 lines, which seem to fix the issue.
