Build up order in zen and complete transaction via amazon

Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to do this.

A little background, I'm a web developer by day but am new to zencart/amazon.

I'm looking for a way to have customer buildup their cart in zencart and then hit amazon to checkout.
This is the best amazon quasi drop ship solution I could come up with.

Is this what the Checkout By Amazon Zen Cart plugin does?

Is the right way to do this:
-import affilliate store products to zen
-customer builds up cart in zen
-customer checks out via amazon?

The Checkout By Amazon module is just that - it allows your Zencart store to use Amazon Payments to pay, just like Paypal or Google Checkout.

I don't know any way to do what you want to do without a lot of custom coding.

first, thanks for the reply! so in order to do this I assume the items have to be in sync and that's why there are all these inventory sync modules?

Substantial modifications to zencart will be necessary before it can behavev the way you require... And why do it anyway? Just develop the amazon shop in its own right...
