    Default define_main_page blank in admin

define main page is blank in admin, all of the other pages come up fine using v1.5.

When I go directly to the file via control panel, everything shows up in the file that admin told me I could go to edit. No biggie but I find it odd.

I had exactly the same thing happen with one installation. Never did figure out what was happening.

Not unless I munged something up by mistake. The original edit on define_main_page was done in the editor (Plain Text mode), saved properly and appeared on the site OK. It's just when I re-opened it in the editor, the page (in the editor window) was empty and anything entered into it after that didn't 'take'.

Are there any admin .log files in the /cache directory? I've seen this issue when, as DrByte said, there was a charset-related problem with the data.

Character Sets must not be mismatched. If they are mismatched then the data won't be displayed.

Clicked on your link. Ambiguous directions....is it latin1 or iso-8859-1? I tried changing the two configs and english.php and nothing changed in define page editor.
