Attaching a forum to my store

Is there a way to add a Forum site to a zencart url
I want to build a site and have it be for example mysite.com
and then ill put a linked tab in it to take them to my site.com/forum
and there be a forum for my customers.

I'm sure theres a guide or instructions to do this but i can't seem to find any.

can someone help point me in the right direction?

When you install a zencart is there not still the option to integrate phpbb or similar?

You kind of answered your own question. Just install the forum software in a subdirectory of your Zencart domain (/forum, as you suggested) and place a link to the /forum address somewhere on your Zencart site.

If you're asking how to have customers who create accounts on your site be automatically registered on the forum, I don't think there's a working bridge for that anymore.
