Only Free Shipping Module appearing at Checkout

Could someone please help! I just want to have the standard flat rate shipping module enabled, but when I am testing checkout, I am only given the free shipping option. The module is enabled (green light) and I also tested the zone based and table weight shipping but neither of these work either - just the free options. The store is UK based, but as far as I know I haven't set any restrictions or zones but wondering if the shipping modules aren't working because they don't like the UK test address.

I have configured 10 stores now and never come across this problem, so wondering what the heck I've done!

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Make sure that you only have Flat Rate flat installed ... all other shipping modules should be removed ...

Click on any shipping module that is not a RED icon, other than Flat Rate flat, and click remove ...

Is Flat Rate now showing?

If not, check the settings on Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping ... and make sure that the Free Shipping is not enabled ...
