    Default Configure V1.3.9 for Thai

    Hi all

I have deinstalled everything, then I used the knowledge I got from the thread where it tells me how to make Zencart utf8 compatible.
I changed a couple of files and included the db_charset file.

See here for tutorial on how to make zencart utf8 compatible:
    http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?93439-UTF-8-Zen-Cart-Tutorial-for-v1-3-x

Now I did all this, reinstalled the whole thing. Then i downloaded the english files, called them "thai" instead and am about to translate everything. (I do this as the newest thai language pack is version 1.1). Yes I also promise that when this is done I will make it a free downloadable language pack. But it is just not f***ing working.

I use filezilla because in Cuteftp i can not write thai. In filezilla i can.
Check the website www.ninivegames.com and you see when you click on the Thai flag that the "Login" is just "?????". The whole website is programmed in utf8 and I am at the end of my wits. WQhy doesn't it show in thai?

Did I do something wrong so i have to reinstall again?
    What is my problem?

    Please somebody help me...
If I type thai in the pages editro it works perfetcly. But titles of sideboxes or in the navbar just produce crap. And I don't know why?

"If I type thai in the pages editor it works perfectly. But titles of sideboxes or in the navbar just produce crap. And I don't know why?"

    Answer to my own problem:
Open thai.php (includes/languages/thai.php) which is as explained above, just a copy of english.php
    1) Open it with Notepad++.
    2) Click Encoding and "Encode in UTF-8 without BOM"
Note: WITHOUT BOM. If you just encode as utf-8 the problem persists.
    3) Translate all the Titles of the sideboxes or andy other boxes or just everything in the whole file.
    4) Upload.

    Perfect!
    Thank you Fabian ;-)
    No problem Fabian :))))
