    bug Customer details not viewable in admin panel after client address_book update/delete

    I was wondering if v1.50 is having issues with a customer editing their address book entries and having it mess up the referential integrity of the customers table. I noticed this when an order came through and I couldn't see the customers info when clicking on their name in the customers admin panel. So I dug into phpmyadmin and entered their info in the address book and all was fine.

    A few days later, I was trying to duplicate this problem with creating orders and customers. I only found this to be when you change the default address and delete the inital address that was originally registered with. The update/remove address book entries somehow unlink the two tables thus creating a broken customer and address entry relationship making the admin panel not show any details when clicking on one of the top five in the dashboard.

    Can someone shed some light on the issue or point me in the right direction for re-coding the update/delete database entry?

    Can you better explain what is exactly broken?

    I created a new customer account ... I made an order ...

    I then added a new address to the customer account and made the new address the default and deleted the old address ...

    I then created a new order using this new address ...

    From everything I can see, all is working for this customer account on both orders without any errors ...

    What am I missing here?

    I'm having a hard time duplicating my original problem. I too followed those steps and everything works. I will post back any updates or when this error occurs again. Thanks for your response!

    Okay, I think I've narrowed it down to when a user creates an account and chooses a country other than the USA, the server generates an error 500. Then the user proceeds to checkout and uses "Ceon manual card" instead of Paypal which allows checkout. After I view address_book table, there is no associated entry.

    I am using the latest Numix Fast and easy checkout.

    I do not use those add on plugins ...

    You might check if there are problems with either of those ...

    I have similar problem:

    I have imported customers from prestashop and in MagneticOne Zencart Manager software customers on same zencart database are shown ok, with addresses and other info. That is ok. But, in admin page of zencart, I still see customers, but if I click on some customer and try to update it, i get empty fields in details. And I cannot add customer from admin page. Are there any workarounds?
