After upgrade 1.39 to 1.5.1 over 300 Queries loading on one page, is that normally

Hi, I recently upgrade our zen cart from 1.39 to 1.51, and add a few add on inside, the query loading on my categories page are crazy. Each page shows over 3000 queries according from my log. I upload my older 1.39 to the same server, it only load about 300 queries in each page. However, my 1.39 has query cache add on installed, but 1.51 doesn't have the addon available anymore.

has anyone know how to fix it? it looks like kill a lots of memory.

The Query Cache add-on is built into v1.5.1.
