Attribute menu size

Hi, I would like to increase the size of the attributes menu on my product pages. The drop down menu is very small and makes reading the price difficult, so I would like to make it larger.

I have tried to find where with the developers tool kit unsuccessfully, so any help would be appreciated. Can you keep it simple as I am very much a novice at this.
