Default Installed but getting Object not Found

I downloaded and installed zencart. Went through the Db setup steps. Changed the admin name and deleted zc_install as instructions said. Now I can’t get into the admin panel. I have since renamed the admin file back to “admin”
Still won’t work. I am getting a Object not found error (404)
I have set at this computer for at least 8 hours looking at forums, help files, etc… Can’t get this fixed.
    I am using 1.5.1.
    Used zc_install
    Php 5.3
    MySQL 5.5.34-MariaDB

    Can Anybody Help!!!!

A 404 error is pretty specific. It means the page you're trying to access doesn't exist.

You're pointing your browser to yoursite.com/admin ? The actual name of the folder is 'admin' and not 'Admin' ? Zencart isn't installed in a subdirectory (like yoursite.com/store) ?

    Yes it is "admin".
    It is buried in www.mysite.com\www\ZEN\admin
    All other pages are www.mysite.com\www\
Can the browser not find it?

Because it isn't where you're telling the browser it is. Ignore the www for a minute and point the browser to yoursite.com/ZEN/admin.

    Just tried it.

Got a big red box with:

    Warning!

Warning: You cannot access the admin until you have
    •renamed the admin folder.
Help for renaming the admin folder can be found here

Then, to access your admin area, type the admin URL into your browser, ie: http://www.your_site.com/YourAdminFolder/

Does that mean I got through?
If so, because I am using 1.5.1 I don't have to modify the configure files, right? Just change the admin name?

Correct. Now rename your admin folder and point your browser to yoursite.com/ZEN/[new admin folder name].
