The radio buttons will not change to a drop down menu after updating

Hi,
I am testing a web site on my localhost computer and changed the radio buttons to a drop down menu but the change did not take affect. So I deleted all the values first and then the names. Then I reinstalled the names with drop down menu, set up the values and inserted the attributes and got radio buttons instead of a drop down menu.

I am guessing the data was not deleted from the data base and if that is the case how do I edit the data base?

If you only have 1 Option Value, Dropdowns with 1 Option Value automatically revert to a selected radio button ...

Sorry I forgot to add that I originally had 4 options, removed them and then added three options back to the product still with radio buttons. Yes I read that you need more than one to get a drop down menu.

Do you have one option name with four option values, or four option names each with one option value?

I have four individual option names each with there own option values.

That's your problem. You need to have one option name with four values in order for those values to be associated with each other and make a dropdown.

That is a whole other issue, and you need to look around the forum for other discussions - the feature has been requested more than once. It would take custom coding, or perhaps there is a mod in Plugins that will do it.
