This is a contradiction... Either you WANT login for checkout, or you don't...

If you want to offer customers the option to check-out WITHOUT having to register, then you either need the COWOA plugin, or you can get Numinix's FEC (Fast and Easy Checkout) which may be more reliable than COWOA. (It has a COWOA option in addition to the FEC procedure.)
