Please help - version 1.3.9

I recently lost my website & paid a fortune to have it restored with my host. I was using version 1.3.9 because I have never been able to successfully upgrade to a newer version. I have crashed my site every time I have tried. So, I NEED to do a reinstall using version 1.3.9 with my current database. I cannot recreate a database. I cannot start from scratch again. The information is there, but I can't get it to all connect.

I have reinstalled Zen, V 1.3.9, but when I finish the install, I get a blank white page. No error messages, no codes, NOTHING. I have checked the cache for debug logs & there is nothing from today, so I have absolutely nothing to go on there.

Can someone please help me get my site reinstalled and working again? What do I look for? Where do I look for files that may contain other things that have to be changed? My home page path changed & I updated it in the admin/includes/configure.php and included/configure.php files. Where else? I'm so frustrated right now.

Do you have your original FILES as well as the original DATABASE?

Having just the DATABASE will not restore things like your site cosmetic design (the template).

If you want to restore the site to what it was, then you need BOTH the files and the database associated with the site.

By installing a NEW ZC setup, and trying to get it to use the ORIGINAL database, you are overlooking a number of considerations...

VERSION compatibility.
DATABASE set-up compatibility.
NO CUSTOM TEMPLATE.
NO CUSTOM files (for any add-ons you may have had).

So... if you have a backup / copy of BOTH the original database, AND the original files, then restoring everything is really just a matter of a half-hour's work...

Yes, all of the files are in place, the database restored, etc. I was sticking with the older version of Zen cart trying to alleviate any of those concerns with compatibility from older to newer versions. My site was on 1.3.9. As I said, all of the files are uploaded, the database is in place, there just seems to be a hang-up with the install recognizing the files. I can't figure out why. All I get is a blank page when I try to load the site. No error messages, nothing. The site is: www.kings-kreations.com

Is your server giving you blank pages because it doesn't like the permissions you've set on files? You'll need to ask your hosting company about that.
