Shipping | US Only | UPS Module Issues - Quite Frustrated.

With a bit of acknowledgement of defeat, i'm having quite a bit of trouble with the shipping module and how it works with US only. basically, a month ago i deleted all of countries except the US and had issues with that and added Canada and proceeded on my way. orders stopped coming in. arggg...

basically, if the user didn't enter the state in proper abbreviation, zc send would errror New ALERT: PayPal Express Checkout Error (10736). ie if someone just typed in the state name over using the abbreviation. the shipping estimator worked fine at that time.

after getting the checklists of what folks wanted, i was instructed to "get rid of the clunky, choose your country bit" and "add a drop down for the US states as this is a US shipping site only". Sure...That was 2 days ago and now it is all broken.

Basically, I just need to get the UPS shipping working again, and clean up a few form fields, get rid of the Country options and a drop down for the States. I have a really nice fast and easy checkout page ready to go. The default checkout is up now.

I went thru this little deal.. http://www.picaflor-azul.com/blog/?m...ct_us&paged=25 to Restrict Shipping to U.S. Addresses Only. At the end when I update my UPS settings, it turns Yellow, not green.

Then it occurred to me the whole country bit being deleted and maybe that's why the states were not showing up the zones. Ewww. i hate to say it... but i went to a another copy of zc on my server and exported all of the countries and imported them in to this database with phpmyadmin. it seemed like ti worked okay...

i'm happy to answer any sort questions and provide details and settings. i'm not even sure where to find a log file for this situation. i'd be happy to provide a sweet promo code for candy at cost. via pm . this the real gig. i'm going to sit here and figure it out until it is done.
