I do have a problem though, some of my categorynames are rather long, and in the drop-down menu, they take up two lines, I changed the width of the columns of the drop-down menu, but the categorynames are still on two lines, unless I use underscores instead of spaces in the names,

how do I resolve this ?

You can actually change the width of the left column from the configuration settings : admin menu -> configuration ->Layout Settings - Column Width - Left boxes.
However, it does seem like some of your category names are quite long. Wondering if shortening them is feasible....However, I do know the language or the store. So, please ignore my comment if it is irrelevant.

Thanks for this great template.My question is to do with customising megamenu.Can you give me any advice on how to make the second or third level of subcategory dropdown appear in three or four columns,instead of one ,really long column.I know this can be pretty difficult,but I can see sites that are doing it,so any help at all would be appreciated.

The menu for Information has 3 columns. If that is what you are looking for, then follow the code that is done for information.

Unfortunately Mega menu's width is fixed as a part of the template. However, you can change it by playing with tpl_header.php and css files.

Please excuse me if I am confused. If you are asking about widening the width of the categories drop down menu you can do that in the stylesheet_mega_menu.css file.
