Clean update adding old orders to customers.

Hello,

We have just updated our Zen Cart from 1.3.8a to 1.5.0, this was a flesh installed with the customers added by hand in the Zencart admin panel, as we only have 98 users this we easy to do!

But now we have found out that the users orders can't be added Via the admin panel? (or can they), is there any way of adding the orders back to the customers account? thank you.

A proper upgrade includes using your older database and running zc_install to upgrade that database's contents to the new format. This preserves all your customers and order history as well as your products and categories.

I would suggest that the best "fix" in this situation is to delete your new broken database and do a proper upgrade.
