I do have another questions regarding the section where the slider is contained. I wanted to turn the slider off for now (and use the slider in the center home page section at a later date). I would like to just remove the extra space between the header image and the body of the home page - the space that would have otherwise occupied the slider. I changed the height in the stylesheet here: #home-banner{height:250px;}. The height change is reflected in Firefox but not Explorer. On top of which the cart total navigation at the top of the page is just floating around along with the header search bar (Of course the header image I am using is also 1000px wide, which is throwing the positioning of those items off as well)
I don't mean to botch it all up and am using Firebug etc. to adjust the customizations in the stylesheet. I feel like I am overlooking something. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
To temporarily disable the slider add this to the bottom of your stylesheet.css file:
