Problem uploading image directly to EZ page since upgrading to 1.5

Hi there :)

I am hoping someone will be able to help me with a small issue I have noticed since upgrading to 1.5.

I have created an EZ page to show images of my recent projects. With the last version, I would select the 'image' button in the page's content box and it there was an option for me to browse where the photo was and upload it directly. I've just gone into my website to add more photos of recent projects and when I select the 'image' button there is no 'browse' and upload option. Am I missing something?

You were probably using FCK Editor - and a version of it that allowed image upload.

1.5 does not embed an editor, so you have to load one, and CK editor is the recommended choice. And the capacity to load images directly from the editor is no longer a standard function - mainly because of huge security issues it presents.

The safest way to load images is via FTP.

You can (if you want) create a "dummy" product, and use that to upload images.

Thank you Schoolboy for your quick response. I had a feeling it was an option that was removed but wanted to make sure I wasnt blind or something...lol! No biggie, I'll just have to load them via FTP first.
