We sell leather jackets and offer free shipping. Recently we partnered with a leather conditioner company to sell their products. The jackets are in the $250-$400 range and the conditioner is from $6-$10.
I added the conditioner to the site as an add-on for an order, but two customers have ordered the conditioner only and both are overseas. Each of these sales means I lose money.
Is there a way that the item can only be purchased if a customer buys a jacket, for example?

You could offer the conditioner as an attribute for the desired products:
