After updating from 1.3.8 to 1.5 and installing the appropriate language pack (Spanish in this case), all the international symbols (such as á, é, í, etc) appear in the store or the admin console fields as . After checking the database tables, I saw that all international characters are correct.
Later I proceeded to change some of the symbols, for example "Artculos de Temporada" for "Artículos de temporada". However, after making the change, the database entry appears as "ArtÃculos de temporada". Database collation is utf8_unicode_ci
Anyone has had a similar issue and knows of an easy fix to this?
