Upgrade from 1.3.8 to 1.5 questions

Yesterday I decided to try myself upgrading from 1.3.8 to 1.5

Test system : Centos 5.5 , php: 5.2.17 , mysql: 5.1.52

- installed new 1.5 zencart version .
- restore database backup on new version .
- upgrade database
- copy my actual template on /inculdes/templates

After some changes still have BIG PROBLEMS :

1. Problems connecting on Admin area
2. User must re-login ( after press Home link ) also after redirect by using custom menu header .

what is zenid=3443545tergtt3535 at the end of every link ????

3. Page Product info not displayed .
4. Go to checkout button display Server Error page

Did you follow the upgrade rules? i.e. did you upgrade to 1.3.9 then up to 1.5 and compare and merge all necessary files one by one...?

I use a free template customized by myself over the years . Regarding the upgrade step i left selected checkboxes : 1.3.8 to 1.3.9 and 1.3.9 to 1.5.0 . I'm not giving up but I feel Lost in Translation .

PROBLEM 1 and 2 solved

1. Problems connecting on Admin area

For those people having this problem , after I have read this topic http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?258 I have solved the issue ( 1.3.8 doesn't have this problem ) .
In conclusion , using domain name instead IP admin login is working , also user login persist .

Still have other 2 major problems :

Maybe some installed modules on old db give some problems ?

What do you mean by "not displayed"? Does your computer blow up in smoke? Or do you get an error message? or do you get a partial-blank page with just headers? or a totally blank page? What are your symptoms?

Again, what exactly does the error say? And what is the *complete* URL in the browser address bar when this error appears?

And how come so many seek help without giving a link or unlinked text address to their site, so the forum can see the problem? I've often wondered if it's because they think that they have the greatest ecommerce idea of all time they are trying to protect.

I don't want to make loose your time , so I promise will be more clear :)

xSPH : Can't place link because my virtual machine is on my personal computer .
xDrByte : "computer blow up in smoke" :))))) . You're right , I described the situation in an ambiguous way .

Problem 3 solved . Lightbox was main issue . I had to replace tpl_modules_main_product_image.php with the original one .
Problem 4 solved . By using Domain name + clearing browser cache

Now I had to re-install and test all modules .
I have noticed after I did database upgrade that old modules seems not being imported . It's normal behaviour ?

Do you kknow if Monthly Sales Totals module is working on version 1.5 ?
