Display a response from the database in the description field

Hi all, I had a good search but am unable to figure this one out!

I would like to have my description field pick up bits of information from the database to display based on
the product as I am using EasyPopulate.

For example: I have set up a standard template for a number of products and want to display the part number
or name within the description text (or both).

Please let me know if you need any further information!

There is a mod for "boilerplate" that does something similar (but not the same) as what you want. It is described in swguy's website and discussed in the forum. I wrote a variant on it ("extra boilerplate"), which could be adapted with a bit of custom code to do what you are asking.
