Zone Shipping Issues

My zone one is set to US and has the following code:

1:5.00,6:5.00,11:10.00,10000:0.00

Basically if you buy 1 or if you buy 6 the cost is $5.00 but for some reason at 6 even though this is the code it is charging the 10.00 then if you buy 12 or more the cost is free.

This is driving me crazy. Originally I had it just as 6:5.00,11:10.00,10000:0.00 and it was saying shipping could not be calculated and making it free. UGH

These are not settings based on count beyond what you define ...

1:5.00,6:5.00,11:10.00,10000:0.00

You said after 11, that through 10000 to charge 0.00 and that is what it is doing ...

How do you ideally need your shipping to work?

I think I found the problem and it was not in the shipping zone coding but in the address. Those that gave free shipping because it could not be calculated have their state name spelled out

So if in the state field you type Ohio - it does not calculate shipping but if you typed OH it would.
I am changing the state to a drop down box and will see if that fixes the problem.
