where to put the "store" www.foobar.com/store or www.store.foobar.com ?

I'm trying to thing of the plus and minus of each.

Things like if I want to move zencart to another hosting site but not the rest of the site. Would one location be easier to move then the other ?

Thoughts out there ?

Takes up less space on the business card and Zen Cart should never be a "part" of something. You build the site around the Zen Cart engine.

If your site hosts both zencart and non zencart content then foobar.com/store/ is going to be a little easier to migrate (and/or update) because it keeps the store files separate from all other site files.

If your site is only hosting a zencart store then the best location is in the root folder, namely under /public_html/
