    Default Changing admin name hiccup

I've used ZC before on an old site several years ago(no longer operating) and loved it, so wanted to use it again on our new site. I downloaded it today (assuming newest version) via the one click option on Dreamhost. Everything looks ok for the install. Changed the admin folder name. Changed "admin" to my changed name in the configure.php under includes and still I get a 404 error when trying to access website.com/changedname. Is there another place i should be making this change? What am I missing? Thanks!

Resolved that issue, but now when I go to the website I'm getting a 500 error. How do I go live?

I could see it before I deleted the zc intall file and before renaming my admin directory.

Your 500 error is probably a result of setting files or folders to 777 permissions.

You should ask your host for help determining exactly what specific error is triggering the VERY GENERIC "500" response. (The generic error is displayed so that hackers can't guess what problem they might be causing and thus fine-tune their attack, if that's what they're up to. Similarly, many error messages contain info that could be used to compromise the server, and thus a generic 500 message is displayed. The hosting company has logs about everything, and they can tell you what's causing it.) In the meantime if you want to try things for yourself, there's an article in the FAQs section about it.
