Issue with New Products

Hello,

I have the following issue with New Products feature, I am referring to the products that appear once you click on the category and new products show up from all the subcategories. Problem is that they all show up in one page so if you have 100 new products they all show up and it takes very long for page to load. What I wanted is to have that divided into multiple pages.

Please note I am not referring to new products link where that can be controlled in admin, I am referring to feature that shows after you click on a category and there you see specials and then new products show up.

Admin - Configuration - Maximum Values - New Products Module

The default is 10, so I'm not sure why you're seeing 100.

This will just decrease the number of products that will show but does not create more than one page, but I want for all to still show up but they should not show up in 1 page as then if you have 500 featured products the page takes really long to load. I want for products to show up in more than one page.

Can someone help please, I am breaking my head over this. I just do not understand this feature as I have many products and I want all of them to show up, but why do they all load in one page and it does not create multiple pages so page does not take long to load.

That functionality doesn't appear to be available. It looks like you would have to write code to make it happen.
