    Default Fundraising Question

I have a question maybe someone here can help me with.

I want to offer fundraising here is how it would work

People doing the fundraising would be given a code to give out on flyers or what have you. People can then take the code and go to my site and enter it somewhere so that i can give the correct fundraising group the credit for that order.

Any idea how to best implement this?

    Maybe affiliate software would assist?

I haven't used snap affiliates, but I have used iDev and jRox (not in a zen cart environment) but both have their strengths and weaknesses.

    Default Re: Referral

A simple on is to turn on the Customer Referral in the Customers ... Customer Details ...

What this does is allow you to give your fundraisers a "code" that customers can sign-up with ...

Then, in the Reports ... Customers Referral ... you can select a Code from the dropdown and set the date range ...

Now anyone with purchases in the date range for the Referal code will show ...

Note: Once a Referal code is added, the customer cannot change it in the My Account ...

As an incentive to remember the Referal Code, make it a Discount Coupon code for 1 use per customer and setup the Customer Referral to by the 1st Discount Coupon used by the customer ...

NOTE: 1st Discount Coupon used will work on existing accounts but it will be set to the "next" Discount Code that they use ...

Or, just make unique Discount Coupons and create a report to generate the totals ...
