    Default Consistently not recieving Order Confirmations

    Hi,

    We just upgraded to the new version of zen cart and were hoping that with this new update the we would receive all of our order confirmations (because with z1.39 there would be random times when we would not receive order confirmations for some orders). Unfortunately we are running into the same problem with the new version with zen car and were wondering if anyone knew a solution to this problem.

    I think it might be more likely that you need to ask questions to your host because zen-cart should work fine.

    What kind of payments do you take, and is there perhaps one certain type of payment where the confirmation email is missing?

    - *who* is not receiving email confirmations? just customers? or the storeowner as well?
    - what are all your settings in Admin->Configuration->Email Options (except any passwords that might show there)
    - when did this problem first start? Were things fine *before* you changed servers a couple months ago?
    - do any other emails arrive from your store?
    - have you read and made use of the troubleshooting advice here: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...Email_Problems
    - do those order-confirmation emails show up in the email archives (assuming you've turned that feature on and have the addon installed for viewing them, as mentioned in the link above)
    - has the server administrator traced the delivery of these emails to determine whether the MTA engine receives the email and passes it thru spam filters and then passes it on for delivery to the customer?
    - which payment modules do you have enabled on your site?
