Adding those graphic lines to the html e-mail might be difficult. Or, did you mean you wanted to take out the information by editing one of the e-mail templates in the emails directory? Hard to tell.
I'm confused too.
I can't tell what you're asking for.
If you want scribbled-out brush-strokes all over your emails, I don't think your customers would find them very valuable.
But that's all I can gather from the image you posted.

Common guys, you're being obtuse.
If I were me (and on a good day I am) I would assume he pinked out those parts because it's a real email and he wants to hide the real information on it -- for reasons of privacy and also because it's irrelevant. So what he's asking for is a way to edit the template used for emails so it looks like that one, with the boxes and borders and columns and so on.
To do that, OP, you need to edit one or more of the email templates in your_ZC_folder/email. Creating email templates is an art, not a science. Google for advice and then apply what you learn to those templates.

I would love to see any resources/links that get dug up regarding email customizations.
I currently use Mailbeez email Marketing modules and would like to make ALL of the emails coming out of ZenCart a little more consistent ie closer match to Mailbeez emails than default Zen Cart email.
Mailbeez uses Smarty templating, but I don't think there is any reason why I couldn't hack up the default emails to resemble them.
Rob,
if you'll review my post, I did tell the op about the templates. And I STILL don't know for sure what they are after.
Rob,
I'm with dbltoe here.
The image posted looks just like the built-in HTML-formatted order confirmation that comes out-of-the-box ... except for the blanked-out personal information. As far as ZC v1.2 thru v1.5 anyway.
So, the question remains: what exactly is it that they're saying they want to change? Their subject says "I want my confirmation emails to look like this". If the picture they posted is from THEIR OWN site, then they've failed to post what they actually want the emails to look like compared to what they already do now.
However, maybe the image they shared isn't from their own site at all, and thus their question is far more basic and would be better worded like: "how do I turn on HTML emails from my site?" ... and that's a simple switch in Admin->Configuration->Email Options->Send MIME HTML emails=true.

My html order emails on 1.5 don't look like that.
Sort of, but not the colored boxes, borders, etc helping to define sections.

Mine don't look like that either, which is why I replied that way. Now I'm going to have to find out why not.
