Can I add this shopping cart to my existing site?

I do not have Zen Cart downloaded yet. I was wanting to know if I can add a shopping cart/use Zen Cart if I already have my website designed & layed out how I want? Or do I have to start over & build my website again from scratch using a template, etc from Zen Cart? I used Kompozer to build my site and I really like the way it turned out. It was hard enough for me to understand it to begin with...I'm NOT computer savvy at all...if I had to try to do this all over again I don't know what I would do!

Sorry, but yes you have to redo it, creating your own zen cart template.
Good news is there is plenty of documentation, and this forum; not to mention the free templates you can use.
However how hard that would be depends on your layout design, with a link to the site we can be more precise.

You don't have to rebuild your existing site to match Zencart to it if Zencart is an addition to what you already have. If you only intend to have an eCommerce site then you can still use what you already have as a starting board to customise ZC and scrap it when you have the cart looking the same.

ZC is very customisable to get it to look how you want, but there is a learning curve. There is plenty of documentation and tutorials, plus this forum as well :)
