Overseas orders not updating

Hi

i have noticed that when some people checkout and go through to paypal, some orders which seem to be overseas are going through paypal but are not updating in the back end system, ie there status remains as pending. and so they do not show up as orders even though they are being completed and checkout through paypal.

Does any body have any ideas, as i am stumped.

You posted in the "PayPal Website Payments Pro" section of the forum. Is that because you're actually using Website Payments Pro?
And were *these* particular orders paid by using Website Payments Pro? Or via a different paypal module?
(You can see the payment module name in column 2 in your Admin->Customers->Orders screen ... paypaldp=Pro, paypal=standard/ipn, paypalwpp=express checkout).
