Zend Optimizer and a PHP 5.2 upgrade to 5.3 = White screen.

Morning all,

Sorry for being gone so long, life happens...

Got notice from our sever company that they would be upgrading the PHP from 5.2 to 5.3 ... being the layman on this side, it initially appeared that it wouldn't effect the site, however this morning when they did the upgrade - the entire site went white. I could get to the site via ftp, or through the admin panel... but the home page was coming up '500' *ack*

Turns out 5.3 doesn't play well with the zendoptimizer... I had them revert us back to 5.2 and we're back in business. (and the tech said a LOT of people still needed 5.2 so they wouldn't be getting rid of it anytime soon.)

Hope that helps, and any other ideas on this would be great.

Zen Cart out-of-the-box doesn't use Zend Optimizer.

Which commercial addons are you using which require Zend Optimizer? Have you contacted them for assistance and direction on what to do with your requirements?

The one that's getting the error under the /cache folder is the SSU under core/parser

We were planning on an upgrade to 1.5 but I was waiting for the first .a or .b updates before the undertaking.
