Shippping Charges Not Added to Order

Downloads are NOT Virtual Products ... and NOT Always Free Shipping ...

The shipping knows a Download has Free Shipping based on the filename on the Attribute ...

Could you edit the settings on the Emerald Mittens to use the proper settings:

Product is Virtual: No, Shipping Address Required

Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules

And then add 3 of those Eucalan products and 1 Emerald Mitten to the Cart ...

Does the Zone Rate zones now work for the shipping?

Can you remove the Eucalan from the cart and just have the Emerald Mitten in the Cart ... go to checkout and does it skip the checkout_shipping and go right to checkut_payment ...

Okay, I tried these things and everything seems to be working correctly. Though I'm confused about why a download may not have free shipping. Is there an easy way to change all of these besides going in to each item and changing it?

I do understand this, I just want to get these products of for sale since I've paid for them and I've had them for several days now.

You understand this ... but I do not really have the time to try to make this work in your v1.3.7 and later do what ever changes/extra customizations ...

I do not have a v1.3.7, as it is too old and I am not going to customize all of the code to get it to work with:

Well, I disagree with that statement, I just want to get this working now so I can start selling these products. All I wanted was to get the shipping charges to be correct, I didn't realize it was such an involved process and some of this stuff you posted didn't make sense to my like a download product isn't virtual and you need a shipping address for it.

Anyway, I certainly understand your position, it seems to be working now so I'll work with it until I do the upgrade.

Downloads do not get marked as Virtual Products as when the Attribute with the filename it is found, that automatically makes that a Virtual Product ...

If you also mark it as a Virtual Product then it will count for TWO virtual Products or Products that have no shipping ... now when you try to work with physical Products or real Virtual Products the counts are messed up for things like shipping Items, Weights, Price for working with shipping modules and the shipping modules now are not getting the right information ...

Example: Zone Rate zones needs to know how Price, Weight, Item that should or should not be counted towards its rates ... but when you have the Download Product double marked then it is remove *twice* rather than *once* and you get incorrect rates ...
