Easy Shipping Labels?

How are people producing shipping labels for UPS while using Payment Pro? I want to easily create a label and have the customer be notified but I don't want an e-mail to come from a paypal address with their logo all over it. Is there an easy way to do this? I'm only using UPS also.

I don't use UPS usually, I use Fedex, and you can set Fedex to autogenerate an email to notify the customer that delivery has been scheduled upon generating a label. I'm thinking UPS should very likely have the same feature...

So your logistics flow would be...
1. Create label in PayPal
2. PayPal accesses your UPS account to generate the label
3. Your UPS default account settings are configured to auto send an email with tracking information

This way, the email is coming from UPS and won't have the PayPal logos all over it. This is just a hunch though, as I'm not entirely sure if there is an option to turn off the Paypal notification emails provided to customers when preparing a UPS label through PayPal. You would need to test it out and see if this method works.

Another option is to install something like the TY package tracker add-on. So once you prepare a label, you then copy and paste the tracking info from that label into the TY package tracker field in your admin page pertaining to that order and it will shoot the customer an email through your zen-cart providing the tracking information. This is more manual work, but the beautiful thing about this solution is that customers can log into their account and track their packages using a live link in their order history page.

Lastly, for the best and most supreme option to automate your logistics, looking into Zfirm's Shiprush software. It is free to download and install, and completely integrates with zen-cart. It will pull order details from your zen-cart database as they flow in, and printing a label becomes a 2-mouse click process. It can also be configured to send the customer shipment confirmation using the email that you use for your business. You are also not restricted to only being able to print labels from PayPal orders in this sense...since it's pulling order data from your zc database directly...orders completed by other payment means will also be downloaded to shiprush.

RoboPhung, I'm using zen cart 1.5 and would like to print fedex shipping labels from the zen cart admin panel. How do you do that? I found a zen cart mod that *should* work however, its description says its for zen cart 1.39

What are you using for your fedex shipping and fedex label making?
