I have learned that many people have the same problems.

I think it is caused by Paypal.

Sounds like you're using the Website Payments Standard module and PayPal can't find your server to notify it of new orders. That's usually a firewall problem or a DNS problem.

But you can avoid that problem altogether by using the more contemporary and reliable Express Checkout module instead.
