Easy populate trouble importing

Hello,
I have another thread started where i am trying to change vat rates within zencart and it was suggested to export and import with easy populate.
I have done a full export with EP 1.2.5.4 and used Open office to open the file.
I have set all my prices as a net price and changed the tax class to the appropriate type.
When i upload this file ( i have saved as csv with Open Office as per recommendations) and once uploaded i can see the upload was successful but the prices are still showing the original prices in the product descriptions and also the tax class name has not changed.
Can someone advise please?
I tried to enclosed the file but it says the limit is to high (it is 229kb zipped up) I can email if required.
