Shipping Modules and Weight issue

Hello,

I have got an issue with how shipping modules charge according to weight... it seems as if the weight of products is not being recognized at all by any shipping modules. I have recently tested it with Zone Rates, Big Royal Mail and Basic UK mail modules and neither of them acknowledge the weight (they were individually tested i.e. one by one installed / uninstalled).

The other mods I have installed are COWOA, UK Counties, CEON SEO URL, but can only assume if it was a mod conflict, it may be UK Counties as its zone related.

OK, I have solved the issue...

If anyone else is having a problem with shipping modules not being able to use a calculation method regarding weight, this is how I got it to work....

Admin -> Configuration - > Shipping / Packaging

Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship : 5000

You need to have a value in there. In my case I have put 5000 (kg)

Well I hope this helps someone else.
